R. Goeschl started his professional career 1976, by managing the construction of several hazardous waste incineration plants.

He became one of the masterminds of a source-separated waste collection scheme in Ravensburg, GER and used this know-how for the implementing of the first source-separated waste collection scheme in Austria: “Gruene Tonne Neunkirchen”, which has been operating ever since.

Until 1987 R. Goeschl took over the project and business management for this “green bin project”.

From mid-1987, R. Goeschl worked exclusively for his own engineering office, (founded 1 Oct. 1985), renamed “Innovative Umwelttechnik GmbH” in 1989 and expanded by setting up numerous subsidiaries and acquiring interests in other countries.

”IUT” has completed a large number of highly complex projects involving the construction of waste treatment facilities worldwide. Working with a staff of about 60, R. Goeschl implemented some 80 sorting and treatment plants, some 20 composting facilities and a multitude of landfill site remediation projects comprising major mechanical and electrical process control components, heating and ventilation technology as well as major construction work (specifically in the case of landfills). Site investigations and connection to utilities and waste disposal services, permitting and co-ordination with local partners and enterprises have been an integral part of all projects.

2001, R. Goeschl decided to sell his interest in the IUT company to VKW Vorarlberger Kraftwerke AG to safeguard the company’s increasingly rapid expansion and, at the end of 2002, resigned from his position as executive officer.

2003, R. Goeschl acquired a 50% stake in the Czech DEKONT group. With headquarters in Zlin, Prague and Brno and sales subsidiaries and representative offices in Riga, Minsk and Kazakhstan, the DEKONT group is one of the leading-edge marketing companies for waste management projects in this high-potential European market.

2003, Reinhard Göschl also reactivated his engineering consultancy “Technisches Büro Ing. Reinhard Göschl” and started working as a consultant for a number of companies in Europe.

The foundation of the company EET, Emirates Environmental Technology Co. LLC, a joint venture located in Sharjah, VAE, created the basis for winning the largest land reclamation contract ever awarded world-wide.

A landfill site holding 4.5 million cbm of waste materials will be rehabilitated within a timeframe of just two years.

The excavation and remediation work will be facilitated through deployment of the SMELL WELL SYSTEM, a technology developed by Reinhard Göschl.

The company Innovation und Technik GmbH & CoKG, which was newly founded in February 2004, is set to exploit the experience gained over the past 20 years and to continue world-wide activities in the field of waste management.

The stake held in IUTGlobal Pte. Ltd in Singapore provides a gateway to the Asian region and will bring Austrian know-how to this rapidly expanding market.
